IT Project Manager
Oil & Gas
- We would be looking for 15-20 years of experience in our line of business (Oil & Gas) and actually understand what needs to be done in our assets.
- Expertise in Master Data Management and experience with Asset Accountability Hierarchy is considere a plus.
For our international client in The Hague we are looking for an IT Project Manager.
We are looking for a candidate that understands Data, Master Data and Master Reference data in the context of our Asset Management Systsems processes and in the broader sense globally. A combination of a Project Manager, Product Manager and Data knowledgeable in the context of our operational processes. The required skills are not in the Skills that can be selected. The role will be focussed on the definition, development and roll out of the MDM product in combination with futher evolution of the Product Management of MIDS and DQ.
The Product Manager will be support by project managers in the various sub products in the space. Expertise in Master Data Management and experience with Asset Accountability Hierarchy is considere a plus. Create a path for MDM in the SEAT Maintenance & Engineering team. The MIDS + DQ product is looking for guidenance on its journey from Recommended Practice to Standard and Manual in the Asset Management System (AMS) and the Data Quality work is visualising the current quality state of the critical data in the various AMS process. With slight delay please find below and attached the requirement we have to temporarily fill the Product Manager roles for both MDM and MIDS&DQ for a period of between ¾ to 1 year.
Both roles are positioned under the product line manager Engineering and Maintenance, reporting into the IDTM Information, Data, & Analytics in the SEAT organization. While looking for people in the market the observation is there among the few available people there is a low amount of people with contextual knowledge, meaning the knowledge to apply general principles based on process and operational knowledge. Specially for MIDS (Manage Information Data and Systems) and DQ (Data Quality) which is a role that looks to support the implementation of AMS (Asset Management System) by providing guidance on processes, governance and ownership of critical data per AMS process. Without contextual knowledge of the Oil, Gas, Chemicals and New Energy business we are a lesser partner to this business.
We would be looking for 15-20 years of experience in our line of business (Oil & Gas) and actually understand what needs to be done in our assets. The request to pair the MDM and MIDS_DQ role is based on the fact that they are complimentary and we need to start developing a good solid structure (processes, procedures and governance) behind MDM. This Product needs full development starting with a good definition of "Master Data" and the difference between Master Data and Master Reference data and who should manage what, based on which standards (if and when applicable). In the MDM space we currently also have the AAH (Asset Accountability Hierarchy) which might be looking for a new home. For that purpose a project manager has started be 01-10. The AAH to Informatica project has been delay because of the required NDS (New Service Development) for Informatica for T&S and the unclarity around AAH going to Informatica or not.
The work right now:
MIDS+DQ – Transition the Recommended Practice for MIDS+DQ to Standard & Manual and transpose the organization to be able to handle the change from RP to S&M. -> this entails setting up an engagement process with the assets after the transition and work with the GPO to further embed MIDS in the assets. Work on the DQ Dashboards and further expand the to encompass more AMS Processes. The current focus is on MEC (Maintain Equipment Care) and ME (Maintenance execution). There is also an interest from functions to start looking at C&P (Contracts & Procurement) and Finance data improvement. Once the data improvement.
Please send us your recent CV (Word) + a cover letter for this role (both in English) together with your availability/planned vacations and all-in hourly rate VAT (BTW) excluded.
