Description

As a member of the Landscape Operations & Integration Analytics and Automation team: This position will provide organized/visual data and automation as well as a framework to empower self-sufficient users transcending organizational boundaries, so IT may better understand their data and take actions to improve. The Analytics & Automation team enables the client IT to become an insight-driven organization that uses data to improve IT operations and incorporates data analytics across the organization and company’s culture. This position includes development of use-cases for a variety of Service Intelligence tools and development of the necessary correlation across different data sources, having analytical and reporting capabilities across high volumes of data from various sources with a proactive and predictive operational focus. Works with Business Analysts and business SME/users to assess opportunities and collect/prepare/build reports. Ensures report design is visually attractive, easy to use and navigate. This position involves actively working with data analytical capabilities of tools such as ServiceNow, Power BI, Alteryx and Azure to proactively detect trends and anomalies. The role will also develop analytical algorithms, statistical models, and analytical tools for the Enterprise. Employs complex techniques (such as trend analysis, classification algorithms, optimization and simulation) and has advanced technical skills (including coding). In addition, this position will also be responsible to engage with IT stakeholders as needed, working in a virtual team across the globe to prepare a story around the data analysis and present to various levels in the organization with a clear story and next steps.

Functie eisen

  • 5+ years of experience preferable in an ITIL process domain
  • Knowledge of other ITIL process areas such as Asset and Configuration, Change Management, Request Fulfillment, Service Level Management, Call Management, Incident Management, Problem Management & IT Operations Management  
  • Knowledge of IT Business Management  
  • Knowledge and experience in the Agile project delivery methodology

Technical Skills and Experience

  • Typical Years of Experience: 4 to 7 years of corporate IT experience
  • Graduate with relevant experience in Computer Science
  • Skilled in business and data analysis and mining using data analytic tools
  • Detail oriented to ensure quality product is delivered
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written using different mediums
  • Skilled in being able to build credible, sustainable relationships with staff, business leaders and suppliers
  • Strong Skills and experience with Power BI report and dashboard creation using industry standard visualizations
  • Strong Skills and experience with Predictive modeling and advanced analytical tools such as Alteryx, Azure and/or Splunk
  • Experience with ServiceNow data mining, report and dashboard creation
  • Strong skills in working with Microsoft Office Tools e.g.: OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Strong SharePoint skills
  • Ability to operate in a virtual cross-cultural organization
  • Ability to handle concurrent tasks with appropriate priority
  • Ability to deal with conflict and ambiguity effectively
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and is confident in dealing with business users
  • Experience in using automation tools and techniques to build improvements and efficiencies in existing operational ways of working
  • Has business knowledge in at least one business area and is actively growing knowledge of another business area
  • Strong Skills in being able to influence others without formal authority to deliver desired results
  • Strong Skills in being able to work independently across different organizational boundaries in a globally and virtual environment
  • Experience with presenting ideas to stakeholders and influencing people without formal authority
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and manage relationships with different stakeholders
  • Good communication skills in English, verbal and written to be used through a variety of communication mediums
  • Must be organized, self-motivated, results-oriented and have a very good attention to detail as the accuracy and completeness of report is key
  • Able to work under pressure, manage conflicting priorities and take responsibility for delivery to key timeframes

  • Collaboration with multiple, cross discipline, cross organizational stakeholders is an integral part of the role
  • Working in a virtual team across multiple time zones may require availability during early morning and/or late evening hours.
  • Managing ad-hoc request whilst still delivering on commitments will require effective prioritization of own workload and a team-work mindset Managing time and work-life balance will be critical.
