Demand Management & Business Analysis Consultant is needed to lead the development, implementation and transition of IRM IP Demand Management and Business Analysis processes, including: 

• Business Demand Management 

• Business Analysis Standards, Policies and Procedures 

• Business case definition, incl. ROI & TCO calculation 

• Release Prioritization 

• Business & functional requirements documentation 

• Agile software development, Product Owner & Scum Master roles & responsibilities 

• Continuous Improvement 

• Innovation 

Responsible for the development, implementation and improvement of the above process, including the following process attributes: 

• Policies, Objectives & Plans 

• Processes & Process Descriptions 

• Standard Operating Procedures 

• Templates & Checklists 

• RACIs 

• Process KPI’s 

• Process & automated Controls 

• Supporting Tooling & Infrastructure 

• Skills, Role Descriptions, Staffing Levels, Resource Planning 

• Ways of Working (DevOps, Agile, Continuous Improvement) 

In order to meet the project objective, the consultant is expected to:

• Elicit and document business requirements

• Translate business requirements into functional requirements for the associated processes, process workflow and controls

• Assess existing processes and associated process gaps/ improvements

• Document existing processes

• Design, document and embed to-be processes in the organization

• Act as a sounding board for alternate ideas/solution

• Propose alternate solutions to simplify, improve and automate solution

• Apply independent thinking to problem solve

• Lead discussions about process redesign

• Communicate and manage stakeholder expectations

• Define process performance targets and measure compliance

• Apply knowledge of business process modelling

• Plan, monitor and report on status

• Educate business users responsible for managing and operating business processes

• Facilitate process workshop

• Document procedures and present new process designs to stakeholders 

Functie eisen

Skills & Requirements:


• ITIL v3 and/ or COBIT5 certified

• Strong experience in DevOps and Agile ways of working

• Strong stakeholder management skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Strong skills in the areas of Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Office in general

• Demonstrated learning agility in ambiguous and unfamiliar situations.

• Problem solving mentality Specific: Experience in assessing, designing and implementing the following processes

• Business Demand Management

• Business Analysis Standards, Policies and Procedures

• Business case definition, incl. ROI & TCO calculation

• Release Prioritization

• Business & functional requirements documentation

• Agile software development, Product Owner & Scum Master roles & responsibilities

• Continuous Improvement

• Innovation Unique Skills & Requirements not required but considered an advantage

• Experience with oil and gas

• Experience with Project Delivery Framework

• Experience with Information Risk Management

• Experience with Transformations, insourcing/ outsourcing
